Cindy P. Driggers rejoined the Wade S Dunbar Insurance Agency, Inc in June 2019 at our Laurinburg, NC location. Prior to this Cindy had been an Agent with us from the early 90's until she left to be a stay at home mom/business owner. Cindy has been in the insurance industry for over 25 years. Licensed in NC and SC with designations including Property and Casualty, Life and Health. Cindy also has a NC Notary Public Certification. Cindy has been married for over 35 years to her husband Duane, she has 2 married, adult children Amber & Morgan and is a MiMi to 3 beautiful grandchildren Holden Brice, Skyler Creed & Henley Sutton. She also has a fur baby, Maxx. Cindy loves spending time with her family, church family, friends and time at the beach. She is also an avid Pickelball player. Cindy is very thankful for all of her associations with her clients during her 25+ years of insurance service. She is a very outgoing person always willing to help in any way possible. Cindy has a "go the extra mile" personality and is always willing to do so with a smile because without clients' continued loyalty, she would not be the person she is today in her insurance career.

Debbie has been in the insurance industry for over 20 years. She started her career as a coastal commercial agent in Loris, SC in 1999 and later became office manager and a commercial lines underwriter for a local agency in Horry County, SC. Debbie moved to NC and joined the Wade S Dunbar Insurance Agency, Inc in 2015 as a commercial account manager in our Laurinburg office. She married her middle school sweetheart over 20 years ago and they have 4 wonderful children ranging from kindergarten to college.Debbie is the president of "We Are the Body Ministries", a non-profit organization that was founded in October 2014 and focuses on feeding and clothing the homeless and less fortunate citizens of Scotland County. She also volunteers with one of her sons at the Humane Society cleaning cages and caring for animals who are up for adoption. She feels very passionate about community service and assisting those who need it the most. Her hobbies include baking the best and most unique cupcakes known to man, upcycling and repurposing discarded and broken things. Debbie is also an avid Powerlifter who enjoys picking up very heavy things, and putting them back down, repeatedly.

Craig started with the Wade S Dunbar Agency, Inc as the Controller in our Laurinburg, NC office in 2010. Craig grew up in Pennsylvania where he graduated from the Pennsylvania State University in 1979, he then moved to Fayetteville, NC. He takes part in many animal welfare causes. He is an avid fan of Steelers, Tarheels & Nittany Lions and also enjoys swpending time with his family, playing drums, running, watching football of any level and watching movies. He has been married for over 35 years and together they have 2 daughters, 2 grandchildren and 2 dogs.

Cynthia started with the Wade S Dunbar Agency in June of 2009. She received her Property & Casualty license in July. Cynthia is a commercial account manager for large accounts and agribusiness in our Laurinburg, NC office.Cynthia obtained her CISR designation in August 2014, CISR Elite in 2017 and cyRM in 2019. She serves on the Board of Directors for Gibson Southwest District Fire Department in Gibson, NC and also serves as their business clerk. Cynthia attended Richmond Community College, in Rockingham, NC and has an AAS degree in Business Administration. Cynthia enjoys spending time with her husband, Billy and her two children, Kaitlyn and Parker.

Dawn (Schiling) Kennedy graduated from Scotland High School in Laurinburg, NC in 1988. She then graduated from St Andrews University in Laurinburg, NC in 1992. She moved to Fayetteville, NC after marrying her husband in 1997. In 2010 her family decided to move back to Laurinburg, NC. Dawn received her Property & Casualty license in June 1996 and joined our Agency in June 2012 as a Commercial Account Manager in our Laurinburg, NC office. Dawn and her family attend St Mary's Catholic Church in Laurinburg, NC where they are all very involved; they enjoy volunteering to work Bingo on Monday nights, Ladies Guild, the annual yard sale, her daughter, is in the choir and their son is the Sacristan (head alter server). Her husband is a wonderful artist. Dawn also volunteers around the community, with Bike-to-Build through Habitat for Humanity, the annual food drive for Church Community Services as well as wherever else she is needed.

GG joined the Wade S Dunbar Agency in 1990 as Receptionist in our Laurinburg, NC office. She moved to the Accounting dept. in 1997. In 1999 she obtained her Property & Casualty license and became a Commercial Account Manager. In February 2005, GG obtained her professional CISR designation. GG is a member of the Scotland County Animal Advocates and is a member of St Paul's United Methodist Church in Maxton, NC where she is a member of the choir. GG was born and raised in Laurinburg, NC only leaving for 5 years when she married her husband Randy McArthur of Maxton, NC. Together Randy & GG have 3 children and are avid dog lovers.

Jim McMillan began his insurance career in 1995 after spending 22 years in manufacturing. Jim grew up in Red Springs, NC and graduated from Red Springs High School. Jim graduated from Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC in 1971 and after teaching school in Florence, SC joined Miliken & Company beginning his career in textile management. In 1995 Jim and his family relocated to Laurinburg, NC and established Terrific Kids Day Care and he began his insurance career. Jim joined the Wade S Dunbar Agency, Inc in 1996 as a commercial producer and remained with the Agency until 2001. In September of 2001 Jim joined NC Mutual Insurance Company in the Hoke County Agency. Jim and his family purchased a small farm in Hoke County and built their home on the farm in 2008. After 11 years with Farm Bureau Jim returned to the Wade S Dunbar Agency, Inc in 2012 as a commercial producer specializing in manufacturing risks and farm/agribusiness insurance. Jim grew up on a farm and has remained connected to farming throughout his life and has a hay farm and livestock as a hobby. Jim is an avid hunter and spends a lot fo time outdoors with his dogs and family. His greatest joy is spending time with his 7 Granddaughters and 1 Grandson and helping them learn the skills they will need to succeed in life.

Jeannie Williams is our Administrative Assistant in our Laurinburg, NC office. She started with our Agency in 1997. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Pam joined the Wade S Dunbar Agency in 1980 as the receptionist in our Laurinburg, NC office. Over the years she has progressed into the role of System Administrator, as well as the unofficial historian of the agency. Pam and her husband, Jim, enjoy spending their time with their 2 sons and families, the beach, reading and any outdoor activities.

Lisa joined the Wade S Dunbar Agency, Inc in 2017 as a Benefits Account Manager in the Raleigh, NC office. She has been in the insurance industry for over 30 years. Upon graduation from Trenton State College in Ewing, NJ, she started working with Horizon Blue Cross & Blue Shield of NJ and then worked with Capacity Benefits & Financial Services as a Senior Account Executive. Lisa then relocated to NC. In her spare time, Lisa enjjoys spending time with her family, friends and her two rescue dogs, Windston and Reagan.

Julie joined the Wade S Dunbar Agency, Inc. for a second time on May 26, 2016 in our Raleigh, NC office as a commercial account manager. She was previously employed with the Agency from 2004-2009. Her insurance career began in 1984 manually typing policies for Pennsylvania National in Greensboro, NC. Later promoted to commercial rating where she rated policies in all states including property, liablity, automobile and workers compensation. After five years she had an opportunity to work for an insurance agency and decided she enjoyed the agency side of the business as it gave mor of the personal touch. She received her Property & Casualty license in 1990. In her spare time Julie enjoys reading, traveling, spending time with family, church and her two bloodhounds and beagle in Wake Forest, NC.

Scott A. Trachtenberg joined the Wade S. Dunbar Agency in 1988. He is a graduate of Albright College with a BS in business and worked for a national insurance carrier in Raleigh, NC for 2 years prior to beginning his career with the Wade S. Dunbar Agency.  Scott has served as the administrator of the NC Association of Plumbing, Heating, Cooling contractors (NCPHCC)  insurance program during the 1990’s, as well as Administrator of the Association of General Contractors (AGC) Health Insurance Plan for North Carolina and South Carolina. He received his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and has maintained this designation for over 25 years. Scott is a Certified Work Compensation Advisor (CWCA).  He is licensed in 9 states with specialization within the construction arena and serves on the Association of Building Contractors (ABC) safety committee.  Scott is also very active in many local charities and fundraisers, such as, the March of Dimes, Crohn’s and Colitis, Relay for Life, and the Concerned Veterans for America.

Charles Skinner has been with the Wade S Dunbar Agency, Inc for over 30 years. He is the Executive Vice President and he specializes in Marine Insurance. Charles works out of our Oriental, NC office. Charles is a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill. He received his CIC designation in 1995 as well as Certified Marine Insurance Professional designation (CMIP) in 2014. He then started the Marine Insurance Division for the Agency specializing in writing risks in or on the water including marinas, boat dealers, marine contractors, boat builders both custom and production builders, all things marine! Charles is a member of the Oriental Rotary Club, has been Chair of the Oriental Rotary Tarpon Tournament for 3 years. He is married to his wife, Mary Skinner, who is partner with the Law Firm of Dunn, Pittman, Skinner and Cush, LLC in New Bern, NC. They enjoy fishing, landscaping and building.

Barbara's insurance career started in 1988 as a coder for The Hanover Insurance Company. In the almost 30 years since then, she has worked on both the company and agency side of the industry. Barbara's designations include an AU (Associate in Underwriting) and CISR. Barbara joined the Wade S Dunbar Agency, Inc in October of 2015. She currently lives in Laurel, Va

Tim Hall is a Vice President for the Wade S Dunbar Agency, Inc. and works out of our West Virginia office. Tim has over 40 years in the insurance industry, including insurance underwriting and commercial risk management. His professional designation includes, CWCA (Certified Works Compensation Advisor). Tim is experienced in all areas of business, consturction and industry types. His particular expertise and focus is in energy and related industries.
